Softball

 Head Varsity Coach:  Heather Hurd

Coach Hurd begins her first year as the head softball coach for the Lady Crusaders. Coach Hurd just finished her second year as the head frosh volleyball coach and her first as the assistant with the 7th grade boy’s basketball coach. Hurd hails from Big Northern Conference rival, Winnebago HS where she participated in volleyball, basketball, and track all four years. Hurd then went on to Rock Valley College competed collegiately in volleyball and basketball. Coach Hurd plays softball in various community leagues throughout Rockford. She was recently engaged to her long-time sweetheart, Don Knight.
