Athletics - TennisJay Philipp, Head Varsity Coach
Coach Philipp begins his 12th year overall, 9th season with the Lady Crusaders and 7th as the boys’ mentor at Rockford Lutheran. Philipp guided his top girls’ doubles team to a 2-2 mark in the IHSA State Tourney at the end of the 2006 season. He is this year. Coach Phillip, a certified coach with the United States Professional Tennis Association, teaches fourth grade at Rockford Lutheran Academy. Jay has two sons, Drew and Colin, both graduates of Rockford Lutheran High School.
