Track and Field

Trey Fisk Boys Track
Trey Fisk enters his third year of coaching track & field and teaching physics at Rockford Lutheran as well as serving as the head cross country coach in the Fall. Prior to moving to Rockford, Coach Fisk was the track and cross country coach at Springfield (IL) Lutheran High School for eleven years. His greatest reward in coaching comes from seeing athletes use their God-given talents to work together to achieve something greater than themselves. Coach Fisk models Coach Joe Newton’s statement, “A ‘willing sacrifice’ is a paradox. One must give up something in the present to attract something even better in the future: a sense that they did something that counted.”
Joe Lodico - Girls Track Joe Lodico, Coach “L”, has been coaching various sports for over 36 years. He is in his tenth year at Rockford Lutheran and has coached track each of his respective years as a Crusader. Lodico has mentored at least one IHSA state track meet participant throughout each of his years at the helm of the program. Coach Lodico attended Western Illinois University in Macomb while lettering in football three out of his four years of participation and he was an All-State performer in football his senior year at Rock Island Alleman High School. Coach Lodico is currently employed by Rockford Lutheran as a Study Hall Supervisor. Coach “L” has three adult children and six grandchildren.
