Tim Muther, Head Wrestling

Coach Muther has been the head wrestling coach at Rockford Lutheran High School for the past 15 seasons. His teams have won 173 dual meets. In all, Coach Muther has mentored 14 individual IHSA state wrestling tournament qualifiers. Six of those state qualifiers have earned stat
e medals, including 2002 state heavyweight champion Ryan Spears. Prior to working at RLHS, Coach Muther taught science and coached soccer, track, and wrestling in the St. Louis area and in Dallas, TX. He has been the JV girls soccer coach for 5 years at Rockford Lutheran and was the boy’s soccer assistant in the Fall of ‘06. Tim and his wife Julie have three daughters.
