BOOSTER CLUB
The Rockford Lutheran Booster Club is the parent-teacher organization primarily supporting the Jr/Sr High School.
Our goal is to promote and encourage active interest in academics, the fine arts, and all athletic programs at the Jr/Sr High School campus. We support the teachers, staff and coaches who work with your students every day. The Booster Club has granted more than $400,000 to school programs since 2010!
Membership in the Booster Club is open to anyone. You don’t have to have a student at the campus to join the organization, just a desire to help the kids be all they can be. Membership dues help provide a critical regular form of income in addition to our many other fundraising efforts to help continue making the many support efforts possible each year. WE ALSO WELCOME VOLUNTEER SUPPORT: Do you see a “need” around our school? Do you have the time and/or resources to help us with a small project that will improve our school? Please contact us and see how you can make a difference!
The Booster Club holds meetings monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30pm in the C.O.R.E. (unless otherwise noted). These meetings are where we coordinate our support efforts, review and prioritize school needs for funding, and plan for upcoming activities ALL are welcome!
The Booster Club also runs the Jr/Sr High School Spirit Shop. Clothing and merchandise options are available at many games and events or from the ONLINE STORE.
2023-2024 BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The Rockford Lutheran Booster Club Scholarship was established in 2013 to help assist Rockford Lutheran Senior High School students with furthering their education, keeping in line with the Booster Club’s goal to “promote and fund excellence in athletics, academics and the arts at Rockford Lutheran Jr./Sr. High.” Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one to the top boy applicant and one to the top girl applicant (see further details in application document).
- Student applicant must be a Senior enrolled full-time and in good standing at Rockford Lutheran High School and may not be on any probationary status.
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA (weighted per RLS policy) through the end of the Fall semester of the senior year.
- Winning students must fulfill all graduation requirements of RLS and remain in good standing (academic and disciplinary) through the end of the semester to receive the award.

Application must be downloaded, completed, signed and submitted with transcript. Completed applications must be submitted to the High School Office by 4:00 pm, Friday, April 19th, 2024.

Executive Committee
- President – The President shall preside over all meetings of the organization, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. The President shall be a member exofficio of all committees, except the Nominating Committee; shall appoint special committees; perform such other duties as may be assigned by him/her by the organization, the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee; and coordinate the work of the officers and the committees in order that the objectives may be achieved.
- Treasurer – The Treasurer shall coordinate with the Rockford Lutheran School business office related to fund receipts and expenditures related to Booster Club activities and keep accurate records of receipts and disbursements in accordance with the approved budget as authorized by the organization.
