Development Department

Rockford Lutheran Schools (RLS) Development Department serves the marketing, communication, community relationship and revenue enhancement needs of Rockford Lutheran Junior & Senior High School, Rockford Lutheran Academy and the Rockford Lutheran Foundation.

The mission of the Development Department is to maintain a solid financial foundation to ensure all current and future students can receive an affordable, quality Christian education.  To achieve this mission, the department focuses on maintaining an optimal enrollment and increasing revenue.  

The department oversees marketing and communications, database and website maintenance, fund raising, special events, grant writing, planned giving, and the development of donor, alumni and congregational relationships. 

Marketing and communications responsibilities include advertisements, press releases, Open Houses and collateral materials and website maintenance. 

The department oversees the annual Dinner Auction, Pancake Day & Student Expo, Phone-a-thon, and Appeal Campaigns and assists students, classes, departments and other auxiliary groups with a variety of fundraisers.
