Rockford Lutheran Schools Foundation

The Rockford Lutheran Schools (RLS) Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation, chartered in 1990 as a means to provide financial support for Rockford Lutheran Schools. 

The Foundation receives funding from monetary donations, stock donations, life insurance, bequests from wills and trusts, other property and the annual RLS Dinner Auction fund raiser. Assets from these donations are invested.

Annually, the Foundation distributes to the Rockford Lutheran Schools a percentage of the invested funds. This income provides funding for financial assistance, teacher enhancement programs, operating costs, and/or other programs designated by donors.Currently, the Foundation has more than $1,000,000 in assets. Last year the foundation was able to distribute more than $100,000 in funds to the Rockford Lutheran Schools, thus helping to reduce tuition costs.
