Students Present "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"
Director Michele Bonzi says "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a very funny and heart-warming play that will keep you laughing throughout the show and end reminding you of what Christmas is really about. The Herdmans are the worst behaved, worst dressed, worst, worst kids in school and everyone dislikes them. The school Christmas pageant is always the same, says their Father. But this year, things will be a little different, because the Herdmans have all the lead parts. Come enjoy the RLHS Theatre Department's rendition of this enjoyable and thought provoking play, and see what happens when the Herdmans take over."
Directed by Michele M. Bonzi, this talented cast of 21 is sure to please.

Rockford Lutheran Art Students Art on Display at "Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful" Luncheon
Sixteen Rockford Lutheran High School students will be displaying 28 recycled art works at the Earth Day Awards Luncheon sponsored by Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful.
Art Students learned ways to conserve and protect the environment while employing critical thinking and problem solving skills. Each student explored the relationship of spatial design skills as they worked with a variety of discarded materials to create works of fine art. By communicating the benefits of renewable materials, this project aims to make personal behavior more environmentally responsible. It is the hope of the Lutheran High School students to educate the public on sustainable alternatives to reducing land fill.
