Rockford Art Museum Juried Young Artist Show

Allie Krebs and Jenna Schneiderrepresented Rockford Lutheran School with their award winning art at the Juried Young Artist's Show.

Rockford Lutheran Art Students Art on Display at "Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful" Luncheon

Sixteen Rockford Lutheran High School students will be displaying 28 recycled art works at the Earth Day Awards Luncheon sponsored by Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful.

Art Students learned ways to conserve and protect the environment while employing critical thinking and problem solving skills. Each student explored the relationship of spatial design skills as they worked with a variety of discarded materials to create works of fine art. By communicating the benefits of renewable materials, this project aims to make personal behavior more environmentally responsible. It is the hope of the Lutheran High School students to educate the public on sustainable alternatives to reducing land fill.

The follow sudent's work will be a part of this display: Caitlin Brown, Victoria Cattage, Jacob Countryman, Cahlee Denny, Sari Gessner, Jaclyn Guth, Rob Haase, Tyler Jones, Alle Krebs, Sarah Letsinger, Elle Lewis, Molly Milligan, Paley Nordlof, Chris Rakos, Christine Rogers and Jenna Schneider.
