This site was created to give additional honor to students and/or faculty who have been publicly recognized for their outstanding performance.

Sandra Nilsson

Rockford Lutheran Schools High School English teacher Mrs. Nilsson has been nominated for the University of Rochester's Singer Family Prize for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching. She is one of twelve teachers selected from around the nation to be recognized for this honor.

Sandra has been a teacher at the high school for 5 years. She has been very active in many Rockford Community activities, serving 10 years as a trustee for the Rockford Community Foundation.

 Sandi Uram

Rockford Lutheran High School Art Teacher Sandi Uram, presented a program on Cooperative Learning at the International Conference, “Modern Pedagogical Techniques” in St. Petersburg, Russia. Mrs. Uram was invited by the National Art Education Association to be part of a delegation of educators to foster a professional exchange while gaining an in-depth understanding of the common interests and challenges shared by educators in Russia.
