RLS HoCo Dance 2025: Top 10 Things to Know

1. High School Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, Oct 4th in the Varsity Gym. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, Oct 3rd.

2. Attendees are expected to dress up for the occasion. Attendees are expected to wear clothing that covers appropriately.

3. Guests must complete a Guest pass and receive RLS administrator permission in advance to attend.

4. All Guests are required to bring a picture ID for admittance. RLS students are responsible for the behavior of their guests.

5. Attendees need to check in between 7-8 PM. Those arriving after that time will need their parent to communicate with dance chaperones before gaining admittance. No drinks may be brought into the dance. Water will be provided.

6. All students attending the dance may be subject to a portable breath test upon reasonable suspicion of consuming alcohol. Students who display behavior suggesting they may be under other influences will have their parents contacted to escort their student home, with relative discipline rules applied.

7. In order to maintain a comfortable, safe, and inviting atmosphere, dancing that is sexually suggestive (in a chaperone's mind) is prohibited. Attendees who repeatedly do not maintain this boundary will be asked to sit/leave the dance.

8. Attendees may not return once they have left the building. Attendees should bring in all their items they may need at the start of the event. Attendees who leave the dance before 9:00 PM will need to sign out upon leaving and depart the campus.

9. A DJ will be playing music meant for dancing at a school event. Understand that they are not just playing your favorite songs.

10. The dance will have numerous adult chaperones present.
