Student Organizations
Beginning in the Junior High School, students are selected to serve on the Student Life Committee to assist the administration and teachers in planning activities and events. This structure helps introduce these young students to structured meetings and governance activities.
In the High School, each class organizes and elects class leadership and representatives to the HS Student Council organization. Student Council is responsible for most of the student life activities in the high school, such as spirit weeks, Homecoming, dances, Lutheran Schools Week and other special activity days that occur throughout the year. Student Council is a great way to teach students about leadership and to give them not only voice, but some levels of ownership of their High School experience.
The High School also sponsors a number of other national and local organizations for our students, such as:
- National Honor Society
- Crusader Honor Society
- Key Club
Student Clubs
Student Clubs meet periodically either before or after school and offer ways for students to be involved in areas of interest outside of the classroom. Clubs meeting can vary from year to year depending on student interests and students have the ability to request and held organize new clubs as well!
