ACES

Formerly known at WYSE, ACES (Academic Challenge for Engineering and Science) is a series of in-person High School academic competitions designed to challenge the brightest students. Competition material is drawn from high school senior and college freshmen curricula, focusing of the subjects of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics, and physics. During competitions, students are put in a high pressure situation where they must answer difficult questions and solve problems within a 40-minute testing period.
